Artizen is interested in creative teaching & learning and ways in which partnerships between practitioners, schools and digital media can play a part in all aspects of this, including personalised learning and teaching for creativity. “I use the vehicles of film, photography and visual art to facilitate creative teaching and learning. I do this by adopting more of a mentoring approach to create safe environments where problem solving, risk taking and team building can take place in order to build self confidence and enable independent learning”. Fi Artizen works in collaboration with educators to build sustainable practices and programmes. Creative technologies can also be used for specific learning outcomes by direct links to themes, concepts and curriculum subjects. Artizen is also a registered centre for the Arts Council’s Arts Award scheme giving students the opportunity to obtain national qualifications for their participation in arts related activities. Fi is a qualified advisor for this scheme and can offer this ‘structure’ and accreditation to a programme of delivery. Actually, who are you not to be?” |
